Lesson 12: Using an image for an anchor

Return to Lesson 11

Continue on with Lesson 13

You can use an image instead of words as an anchor by simply inserting the image tag into the anchor where you would have placed the text. For example: This will set up dogpic.jpg as the thing you click on to take you to the link. You may also add text either before the closing anchor if you want to be able to click on the text or after the anchor if you do not want to click on the text. It's a dog's life. (Makes "It's a dog's life" clickable.) or It's a dog's life. (nothing happens when you click on "It's a dog's life." you must click on the picture.) Assignment 12 Add a clickable image link to your personal webpage. end of lesson.
